The first third starts off with notes of cedar and a peppery undertone. While the two flavors blend well together, I am not a huge fan of cigars that predominately feature either. However, this is enjoyable for the time being.
In the second third a slight spice is thrown into the mix with a creamy earthiness that leads to an overall smooth profile. The smoke output is more than adequate and the burn is spot on.
The final third continues the cedary-spice and earthiness profile but adds a leather essence into the mix. A caramel aroma develops on the retrohale. This is a welcomed edition as the cedar is almost too overwhelming for me to handle. I let the cigar go out half way into this third.
Overall, although this stick is very good, I am not a huge fan of predominantly cedar profiles so this rates an 8/10.
