Warped Cigars have been all over and well received since their release. And even if you've never had them, just the intricate bands are enough to lure you to them if you see them on the shelf. And they really are some beautiful cigars. I am amazed that we do not have a review of this up yet. So, it is time to fix that.

Note: For this review I used CigarFederation's rating system.
Pre-light: The wrapper smell of hay and barnyard notes, with some seep, molasses sweetness in the background. The cold draw is spectacular and is dominated by a mouth watering orange flavor. Akin to jellied orange candies, but not as sweet, just in flavor and mouth-feel.
The Beginning: Not to disappoint, the La Hacienda follows through on the flavor promises from the cold draw. There is a nice amount of an orangey cedar flavor at the start, with some natural tobacco and nuttiness in the background. As this third progressed the orange slowly faded out and the nut and tobacco notes came to the forefront. The ash was mostly firm, but the burn was perfect with no need to touch up.
The Middle: The nut, cedar and tobacco notes run the forefront here. There is no sweetness or fruit notes, but that's not a bad thing. The finish is slightly dry, but not a turnoff. I am also getting just the slightest hint of black pepper spice in the back of the throat. The burn continues to be very good, with only a few waves that self correct quickly.
The End: There is a muted, honey sweetness that shows up here. It isn't strong, but it is definitely there and flavorful. About halfway through the sweetness is gone and the main profile is nutty and cedar, with a more gritty style. The retrohale also ramps up the flavor profile here. The burn got wavy a few times and needed correction, but not too terrible.
Final Thoughts: The La Hacienda was a medium strength and body cigar for me throughout. There were lots of nice flavors and I was able to enjoy it to the end. I have to be honest, I have not cared that much for most Warped blends. The La Hacienda was a welcome surprise, as I really enjoyed it and would love to smoke another one anytime!
