While it is not technically winter for another month, it has gotten cold for most of us. Why just this morning, I actually had frost on the rooftops at 41 degrees. And yea, that is quite cold for us here. Especially, if you realize that it is almost back up to 80 already! So, I figured it was close enough to time to try out Tsuge’s winter aromatic blend from the Seasons Collection, Winter’s Embrace.

Tin/Jar Note: Molasses and grain are very prominent. There is also a background note of fruit and a hint of the vanilla.
Visual: Very light colored, coarse cut tobaccos. Drier than most aromatics.
Flavors: I get notes of hay and grain, with added notes citrus and vanilla coming through on the end.
Smoking Experience: This tobacco smoked just fine. Stayed lit well, lots of smoke and an average amount of relights.
Tobacco Strength: Mild+
Room Note: Pleasant
Comparable Tobacco: Very comparable in style to the rest of this series, of course. Lightly aromatic, relatively mild and great smelling.
Conclusion: Good and easy to smoke. So far though, it definitely isn't my favorite of the series and I only have the Spring one yet to smoke. Not sure what it is about it, but it didn't rank as high.
