Tin/Jar Note: Sweet & plumy. There is also a citrusy sweetness in the background.

Visual: A clean ribbon cut, with a nice moisture content and the occasional dark flakes of Black Cavendish.

Flavors: Lots of Virginia and Black Cavendish notes and natural sweetness. The topping is mostly evident as a sweet plum and fruity cherry note, but it is not overpowering.

Smoking Experience: Although obviously an aromatic, it really does smoke more like a Virginia and doesn’t come off as heavily doused in topping. My wife even commented on my return inside, that I smelled like smokey wood and didn't realize I had smoked an aromatic. Relights are intermittent and nothing out-of-control.

Tobacco Strength: Mild

Body: Medium

Room Note: Pleasant

Comparable Tobacco: Similar to Tsuge’s other aromatics, but with much less focus on the topping and a very natural profile.

Conclusion: Nothing bad to say about this blend. It had no gurgle or tongue bite and burned well. The flavors were nice but nothing spectacular. This would definitely be a good aromatic to try if you either don't (think you) like aromatics or you need a tranistion into the flavored tobaccos.

Rating: 3 Stars AKA "When it is on Sale" – Wouldn't pay full retail but would purchase it on sale
