I figured I would mix it up today and completely a review on something other than a cigar. :)
Screwpop is an interesting take on a cigar cutter. The Screwpop not only cuts your cigars but clips on to about anything and can also open your tasty beverage of choice with ease. The name Screwpop pretty much says it all.
I normally don't use punch cutters on my cigars. I think I am partial to my Xikar Multi-Tool. I have never found a punch which can easily clean out the clippings from the cap out of the punch. Screwpop solves this problem by incorporating an "ejector rod", what a fun word to say BTW, into its design.
I cut several cigars with the Screwpop. The blade was sharp and provided perfect circle cuts without much hassle.
You can pick the Screwpop up online for around $10. It's a worthwhile investment if you like using punch cutters, lose your cutter often, or just like to pound beers when you are enjoying cigars.
Conclusion: Overall, the Screwpop was solid, although I don't have much to compare it to other than super cheap punch cutters I got from CI back in the day for a few bucks. For $10 it is something you should look at picking up since it doubles as a beer opener as well.
Note: I was given the Screwpop for review.
