Tin/Jar Note: The aroma is thick and sweet, like a fudgy fig pudding.

Visual: Very dark, wet-looking, pressed flake.

Flavors: The fruit (plum/raisin) note from the jar aroma is present right off. There is also a mild mix of earthiness and sweet tobacco notes.

Smoking Experience: Once I got a good burn going, the burn was smooth with no tongue bite or gurgles. Correction: at the VERY end there was a fair amount of moisture buildup.

Tobacco Strength: Medium

Body: Medium

Room Note: Tolerable

Conclusion: There was nothing bad about this tobacco. The flavors were smooth and nicely balanced. I never got any bad flavors, gurgle or bite. I would recommend drying it out a little before smoking though. I have a feeling it would burn better if it were just a tad dryer, but I wouldn’t go too dry or fear losing the flavors.

Rating: 3 Stars AKA "When it is on Sale" – Wouldn't pay full retail but would purchase it on sale
