GL Pease Laurel Heights is a Virginia/Latakia blend. With mostly Virginias, it should be a milder and naturally sweet blend. And with a very small amount of Latakia, that shouldn’t be very perceptible.

Tin/Jar Note: A lightly smokey note, with a rich, natural tobacco sweetness. There is also just a bit of spice showing through.
Visual: Mostly lightly colored, Virginias with just the sporadic ribbon black Latakia.
Flavors: Notes of muted orange peel and a lot of leather
Smoking Experience: Nice plumes of smoke, but I had to relight it fairly often. The finish was quite long, mostly leathery and pretty pleasant.
Tobacco Strength: Mild-Medium
Room Note: Tolerable
Comparable Tobacco: Nothing comes to mind.
Conclusion: Not a bad tobacco at all. Clean, mild and leisurely. I really liked the orange notes and the natural tobacco flavors. Not something I want to stock up on, but I would definitely not be against smoking this again. If I found it cheap enough I would buy some more.
