Tin/Jar Note: A smokey-sweetness, with hay, molasses and dried fruit notes. Very light on the smokiness.

Visual: A fairly varied mix of light, medium and dark tobaccos. The Latakia shows up well, with the mix leaning a bit more to the Virginia side.

Flavors: There is a mild, natural sweetness and lots of grain notes up front. The background is a subtle mix of smoke from the Latakia and spice from the Orientals.

Smoking Experience: Lots of nice, thick smoke and a great burn. Never too hot, no re-lights and no gurgle or bite. A very easy going, yet flavorful smoke.

Tobacco Strength: Mild-Medium

Body: Medium

Room Note: Tolerable-Pleasant

Conclusion: At times I would say that this blend actually tastes more like a cigar, than a pipe, which is interesting. It is also milder and sweeter than the English blends that I have had. This is definitely a great first smoke of the day tobacco and I would lean towards keeping some on-hand.
