The Crux Skeeterz is a great looking little cigar. Construction appears to be spot on and the look and feel are just perfect. Pre light aroma has a kitchen spice aroma and a hint of cinnamon. There is also some manure and earthy tobacco notes. The cold draw is perfect and I get a strong, sweet, dark cherry note. I'm ready to get this cigar going!

Quick Note: For this review we used the CF rating system. You can view it in detail here.

The Crux Skeeterz starts out a winner! It has a fairly strong citrus note, with a relaxing cinnamon finish. The retrohale had a surprisingly strong bite to it and it just made the flavors POP! The flavors turn to that more of kitchen spices, but I couldn't pin down an exact note. The burn is precision and the ash holds on very well.

Entering the second third of the Skeeterz, the profile remains mostly similar to the first. Except, now I getting hint of cocoa on the finish. Suddenly, I also start to get hit with some tasty notes of coffee. Wow! This little guy sure packs in some flavors! Same as the beginning, the burn couldn't be any better and the ash is a beautiful ashy-grey with black charcoal lines. Holding on very well.

What happens in the final third? The Skeeterz just solidifies its place in my humidor. I am still getting some citrus, although it has finally faded back. The cinnamon, coffee and cocoa just keep mingling in my mouth, and then the Skeeterz actually throws in some more flavors. Although short-lived, there is a strong wood note, kind of an oak and cedar combo, which fades into a bready flavor.

Wow...this little cigar has so much going on for it's size. Not sure how they packed this many flavors into this small smoke, but they nailed it. Very enjoyable and complex flavor, flawless construction and burn, great presentation and a box presentation that I just want to display on my bar. What else could you want? Oh yea, they are only $2.99 each or $119.60 for a box of 40. Yea...#BuyNow. I do believe this is the best mini cigar I have ever had.

Have only heard great things about Crux, I am hoping these are coming to the Cig Fed store, I cannot find these locally.

Good review, Jerad.  I've smoked several of these. While I thought they were good, I'm not sure I was as high on them as you are.  I think they're a little too small for me - I almost felt like I was 'just' smoking a cigarillo.  On the other hand, give me a Debonaire First Degree or even a Papas Fritas, and I'm still getting the quick smoke experience, but I actually feel like I'm smoking a cigar.

I got to get to Wichita, Old Town Cigar is carrying Crux, and these sound just perfect.

I just enjoy everything about the Ninfamaniac and this little Skeeterz. Packaging, presentation, construction, burn and flavors are tops for me. A big point for me is how far down I can smoke it. And I can smoke both of those cigars to the lip burning nub. :)

Yes, we NEED these in the CF Store. I can not find them anywhere.

Yea Matt, it is a tiny cigar, but just enough bigger than a cigarillo, for me, to keep it in the comfort zone. :) I'm a slow smoker, and this was a perfect burn time, of 50 minutes for me. Could probably cut 20 min off that if needed, but I was in no rush. It was my first cigar in 5-6 days.

Awesome review. I won't some of their stuff during the summer and will have to finally get around to them.

Great review. My local B&M just got these in and I was told to try the Classic (? I think). I saw the Skeeterz and the Ninfamaniac, but passed on both...guess I'll be trying them soon.
