Review: Cohiba Robustos Supremos Edicion Limitada 2014 Catfish Edition

You saw Seth's take, now you get mine!  All in anticipation for our upcoming show on Tuesday!

Woot woot!

Bigger is better, and so goes the evolution of Cuban cigars into the world of large ring gauges, with the introduction of the Cohiba Robustos Supremos Edicion Limitada 2014. For the purpose of being objective, I will refrain from my opinion on larger ring gauge cigars, as in the end, a cigar is just a moment in time to sit down and relax.  The beast in question measures in at a 58 ring gauge, and it seems to be an attention grabber in the United States, as interest has been very large thus far. Granted, I am just giving an opinion on the pulse of the online cigar community with regard to this release.

I'm letting the 4 I have left age til summer, I measured mine and it was over a 60rg...I still feel the 1966 is the best of the Cohiba EL's...

Wasn't impressed with the 66 at all really.

This was the best new el blend I've had in a long time, but I'd never buy it again.

Hi all,

I don't think that I'll buy a Cohiba Robustos Supremos Edicion Limitada 2014 simply because

It's tooooo big .I was never a Cohiba fan and I guess that now, I'll never be .

Amicalement,

Guy

Hey Guy! That shows how different palates are, my favorite Habanos cigar is a Cohiba. I hate big cigars but these have very good aging potential and will be one of those cigars everyone is after and paying huge money to get a hold of in 10+ years.

Guy, I am not a huge Cohiba fan either.  However, I must say that recent production of Siglo IV is outstanding!!!  Very impressive.

Siglo IV and VI, both have been very good!
