Pre-light draw reveals a faint, sweet, earthy profile with the perfect amount of resistance.
The first third starts off with a creamy, woody profile with a hint of spice. This leads into a darker woody flavor. This is definitely a full bodied cigar. The room note is very pleasant and distinct; however, I cannot put my finger on how to describe what I am experiencing. When you smoke one, you will know.
The second third starts off with a slight harshness. I attribute this to it being a young cigar (in my possession for a month and a half) as well as due to the small size. I plan on laying the rest down for six months to a year. The burn starts to go slightly array and the harsh woodiness comes to the forefront.
Leading into the final third, the harshness is still present although somewhat subdued. I find the woody flavors pleasant even though they are out of my usual wheelhouse.
Overall, this is a great cigar that I believe will only improve with a longer rest. I look forward to revisiting this cigar in the future for a follow up review, 8 out of 10.
