The Quesada family will be releasing a new cigar this Spring: the Quesada Reserva Privada Oscuro. A limited edition cigar, the Reserva Privada Oscuro consists of the same binder and fillers from 1997 that are used in the highly acclaimed Reserva Privada, but is draped in a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper instead of the shade grown wrapper used on the original. Each cigar is aged for a year after it is rolled to ensure optimal flavor and tasting experience. While still complex and intensely flavorful like the original Reserva Privada, the Oscuro possesses a heavier body, with spice and leather on the finish. It’s truly a superb smoke.
Sizes available include a Toro (55⁄8 x 54), retails $13.95 and a Double Corona (61/2 x 46), retails $12.95. Cigars are packed 10. A total of 1,400 boxes will be produced.
