Last week, Tuckahoe Brewing Company in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, registered a label with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau for The New Old School India Pale Ale (IPA).
The New Old School IPA is a 6.5% ABV, 55 IBU India Pale Ale that initially debuted in late January 2018. The label indicates that it will be distributed in 12oz cans.
The label reads: "From the deep fathoms of Reed's Bay surfaces this mouth-watering IPA. Bittered with Columbus and dry hopped with Centennial, Cascade and Falconer's Flight with bubbling notes of pine and lemon-lime."
When contacted for details, Tuckahoe responded via Twitter that The New Old School IPA will be canned for the first time on May 7th.
In addition, Tuckahoe announced that they would be canning and releasing The Long Hug in conjunction with the Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival.
The Long Hug is a multigrain saison brewed with grapefruit and lemon, and dry-hopped with Sorachi Ace to enhance citrus aroma. It is also fermented with French Saison yeast to highlight peppery citrus and spice. The Long Hug, coming in at 4.2% ABV and being distributed in 12oz cans was the official beer of the 2018 Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival.
