The IPA scene in the Northeast is indisputably the best in the country, and no brewery in New Jersey has embraced this more than Magnify Brewing Company based in Fairfield, New Jersey. Seemingly with a triple release of IPA cans on a weekly basis, Magnify has quickly become a favorite for "hop heads" with long lines waiting for can releases on Wednesday afternoons. It now appears we have some insight into a future can release - Peach Short Stack.
On April 30th, Magnify received label approval from the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) for the above label - a beer seemingly called Peach Short Stack.
According to label art, Peach Short Stack will be an 8% DIPA brewed with oats, lactose, maple syrup & peaches. While not confirmed by the brewery, this is expected to be an extension of Magnify's much talked about breakfast-inspired Double IPA series.
In January 2017, Magnify debuted Most Important Meal, a 9% DIPA brewed with milk sugar, pastry flour, and locally sourced coffee, and hopped with Amarillo, Cascade and Citra.
This past November, the brewery debuted Frosted Flakes, a 8% DIPA brewed with lots of oats, vanilla and lactose, and dry hopped with Citra, Mosaic and Amarillo.
February saw the release of Strawberry Short Stack - another 8% DIPA containing a hefty dose of oats, strawberry puree, maple syrup, and a touch of lactose, and dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic.
Just last month, French Toast was released. French Toast was brewed with oats, maple syrup, lactose, and cinnamon, and dry hopped with Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado.
When we reached out to Magnify for additional details, the brewery declined to provide details "until the beers are in the bright ready to be canned".
