Flemington, NJ's Lone Eagle Brewing canned beer for the first time on November 1, 2016 - Maiden Flight West Coast Style IPA and Turkey Trot Porter which were both brewed to support the annual Thanksgiving Day 5k race in town. Since, Lone Eagle has been pumping out cans on a regular basis, and has regular distribution to many bars and liquor stores in the area. Now, we're getting some insight into what could be next for Lone Eagle.
On Sunday, May 6, Lone Eagle received label approval from the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) for a can label for GoldenRye IPA. According to the label art, GoldenRye is a 6.5% ABV IPA that will be distributed in 16oz cans. Profile information on the can reads:
Brewed with a healthy amount of rye malt this pale ale comes with just a little rye spice on the end. This beer pours bright and golden. The floral, citrus, earthy aromas are from the use of Cascade, Centennial and Simcoe hops.
