Somerdale, NJ-based Flying Fish Brewing Company built its reputation on the back of its Exit Series beers - a beer for each Exit on the New Jersey Turnpike. Over the past year, New Jersey's largest craft brewery has been updating their branding highlighted by the introduction of Jersey Juice one year ago. We're now getting a glimpse into the next can offering from the brewery.
According to a label approved by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) on Wednesday, Flying Fish is set to debut Few & Far - an 8.2% ABV Double IPA. Text on the label art details:
What happens when you combine an unusual IPA malt from the East Coast of Ireland with Amarillo, Simcoe, and Citra Hops? You get a rare Double IPA, drenched with the flavor & aroma of nectarines, tangerines, and pine. New IPAs are common, but true adventures can lead to something Few & Far between.
Additionally, the can details that "[t]his is a limited-edition beer, so enjoy it while it lasts".
When we reached out to the brewery for further details, we were informed that further details would be provided closer to release date, but "it will be available in a 4 pack of 16 ounce cans on July 1".
