News: Crowned Heads Announces First Regional Release

Crowned Heads recently announced its first regional release for the State of Tennessee called the "Tennessee Waltz". The Tennessee Waltz is the third cigar released this year from Crowned Heads & My Father. This cigar will only be available to retailers in Tennessee, which is Jon Huber's home state.

The Tennessee Waltz is expected to hit the shelves in September. The initial production will be 5,000 cigars and will be packed in 20 count boxes. The cigar is expected to retail at $9 and will come in one vitola, 5.5 x 52.

The blend will use a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, which is a first for Crowned Heads.

When asked why this is the first project from Crowned Heads using Connecticut Broadleaf Huber said, “I chose this project as our first Broadleaf project because we really just wanted to do something special for our home-state of Tennessee. It was important to us to do something to 'pay-it-forward' to the accounts in our backyard who've supported us from day one."

Although this is a limited production, Huber told Cigar Federation the demand for the Tennessee Waltz will drive production.

Really hope I can track down a few of these. Is it likely that Tennessee retailers will take out of state orders for these? And if so, can anyone with knowledge of the cigar shops there make a recommendation on which store would be the most accommodating?
