It appears we might be getting insight into the next canned offering from Conclave Brewing. The Raritan Township, NJ-based brewery really made a name for itself in the NJ beer scene with Gravitational Waves - a juicy, hazy IPA with Galaxy, Citra and Mosaic hops. Now, it appears that one of the brewery's latest hoppy offering could be coming to cans.
On Thursday, Conclave received approval from the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau for a can label for Tempting Time. The 8.2% ABV Double IPA will be released in 16oz cans. When the beer first debuted on draft at the brewery, Conclave provided these details:
While we have a liking for simple session beers, there is something about a hop saturated double IPA that can be really enjoyable. In this one we paired up some American favorites with some hops from the Southern hemisphere in New Zealand. Tempting Time is hopped with Simcoe, Mosaic, Waimea and Wakatu. This one is all about the fruit character that these hops are capable of. Lots of orchard fruit components paired with lots of ripe melon and citrus. We also feel we’ve really hit the mark on the mouthfeel on this one. It’s delicate and soft while remaining drinkable for the higher ABV. Come by and get a taste of New Zealand in New Jersey. Notes of fuzzy peaches, cantaloupe, lime juice, papaya.
Our requests for additional details from the brewery have not yet been returned.
