On April 11, Cape May Brewing Company based in Cape May, New Jersey received approval from the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau for a can label for L'Attitude Experimental IPA, a collaboration with DC Brau Brewing Company based out of Washington, D.C.
The label art indicates that the beer, registering at 6% ABV, will be distributed by Cape May Brewing Company in 16oz cans. It is unknown if cans will be available at all accounts that receive Cape May distribution, or if this will be brewery only.
Wording on the label states:
GET OUT A MAP OF THE COUNTRY. PUT YOUR FINGER ON CAPE MAY, THEN DRAG IT DUE WEST. THE FIRST MAJOR CITY YOU HIT IS WASHINGTON, D.C., HOME TO OUR GOOD FRIENDS AT DC BRAU. THIS WAS THE INSPIRATION FOR THE NEW EXPERIMENTAL IPA COLLABORATION BETWEEN THE TWO OF US - TWO BREWERIES WELL-KNOWN FOR THROWING CAUTION TO THE WIND. USING TWO EXPERIMENTAL HOP VARIETIES, L'ATTITUDE IPA HAS NOTES OF TROPICAL FRUITS, BERRIES, ORANGE CITRUS, AND A TOUCH OF HERBAL KICK, ALL IN A DRY ALE WITH A UNIQUE YEAST ESTER PROFILE OF APRICOTS AND A TOUCH OF SPICE.
Requests for additional information from Cape May Brewing Company were not immediately returned.
