Crowned Heads has been one of the hottest names in the cigar industry over the last few years.  That fact alone makes La Imperiosa one of the most eagerly anticipated new releases of IPCPR 2015.

I sat down with Jon Huber to talk about the new La Imperiosa...

La Imperiosa, which means 'the imperative,' will start shipping to retailers during the first week of August.  As Jon said during the interview La Imperiosa has the same recipe as Las Calaveras 2014, so you have to think this one is going to be a hit.

Here are the blend specs:

  • Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro - 8th priming
  • Nicaraguan Binder
  • Nicaraguan Filler

Here are the available sizes:

  • Corona Gorda -  5 3/4 x 46
  • Magicos - 4 1/2 x 52
  • Double Robusto - 6 3/8 x 50
  • Dukes - 5 1/2 x 54

So, it sounds like the folks who loved Las Calaveras 2014, then you're going to love La Imperiosa.  I'm going to smoke this one on the show floor on Monday and I'll report back with some initial impressions.  I'm curious to see if I enjoy the blend more than I did the Las Calaveras 2014.  I believe Logan and I were the first to review that one and it wasn't in my wheelhouse.  But if you look back at the review (and you can do so here) I predicted that it was going to be a huge success.  I can see the future...

Like I said the video, don't forget about the "old" stuff from CH!

The Four Kicks

Headley Grange

The Jericho Hill and J.D. Howard Reserve are great too, but we didn't see them in the both so we didn't get pics... But we did they get some shots of a few other booth decorations.
