Crux Cigars has been taking the social media community by storm all year. So, if you have not heard the name and can't name at least one of their blends, I would be surprised. They are constantly sharing photos of cigars in the factory, new blends and new packaging. As well as, plenty of giveaways and samples. Well, it worked for me, as the Ninfamaniac is my highest rated cigar post to date on Cigar Federation.
As with the majority of the booths I entered, the setup was clean, tasteful and with the ten hired pieces of eye candy in skimpy clothes. Crux focused on what they came to IPCPR to do. Display and sell their product. One wall on the back, with the logo and description of each cigar line and a modest shelf containing boxes of each cigar out for display. Filled in with carpet, a podium for discussion and a comfy relaxed office feel of furniture.
As for the products, I am excited to try the entire line. The packaging is clean and innovative, with their boxes having a center divider and some of the cigar lines are wrapped in paper packs inside of the box. To me, it just made for a great appearance and safe for storage and transport. Not to mention some very nice looking swag, such as travel hum's and Stinky ashtrays. So, what was new? Well, it all was. And, since they were all new, it's probably better that I just link each one to the Crux Site, otherwise this could get long! The Ninfamaniac, Skeeterz and Passport all have a release date of June 2014, and the Classic and Bull & Bear are due July 2014.
Jeff Haugen and Joel Rogers, the founders of Crux Cigars, were both very inviting and very easy to talk to. Giving us plenty of their time to discuss what they were all about and show us their love of the industry. And, of course, they took the time to give us a quick video interview, so that we could let everyone see what they are all about. I have seen nothing but good reviews about these guys and I can personally vouch that you need to try these cigars. Enjoy!
