As you may already know, CigarChat is designed to give cigar smokers access to some of the biggest names in the industry.  We want you to be able to ask any questions you may have.  We will take questions live during the show, but sometimes things get missed.

Leading up to every show, we will give you the opportunity to post your questions in advance.  Our goal is to get to every question and posting your questions here will help us do that.

So reply to this post with your questions for George Rodriguez of Rodrigo Cigars and we'll do our best to address them all.

Weasel Alert!  Someone is going to win a BOX of Rodrigo Boutique Blend G4s during the show!  Remember, you must be signed in and present to win.

Thanks for all the support and we'll see you all tomorrow at 4PM PDT/7PM EST!

The story about how you got your start in the industry reads as pretty legendary, how true is that? I mean was it Hollywooded up for the site?

I notice that all three of your blends are Ecuadorian wrapper with Dominican republic binder & filler. What was the process behind that choice? Did you know when before you took that first flight to Santiago? Or was that the way the stars aligned because of that trip to Santiago?

A followup, or it could be included in the above question. "What is it about the Ecuadorian wrapper, Dominican Republic filler/binder combo that makes you say, "This is the way to go?" Is it the flavor profile? The burn? Strength? Or was it the best way to go business model-wise?"

What made you choose the DR as opposed to Nica?  Seems like all the boutiques are coming out of Nica these days.

Do you create blends based on your tastes or what you perceive the public would enjoy? What would a "blenders"/ estate owners blend, or rather what would you blend for yourself that the general public might not appreciate?
