Two Ton Brewing, the long-time contract brewer that recently set up shop in Kenilworth, NJ, is set to celebrate its 5th Anniversary this year, and they'll do so with a new bottle offering. According to a filing with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Two Ton received approval on February 19th for a bottle label for Ebullient.
Ebullient is an 8.5% ABV Golden Sour Ale brewed with Lemon, Ginger & White Grape Juice. Label art details that Ebullient will be released in 1 pint 9.4 fl. ounce bottles. Label art reads, "Five years ago, family and business wed to become Two Ton Brewing. We invite you to celebrate with us by enjoying this, our anniversary ale."
When we reached out to Two Ton for details, Matthew Barbiere, Two Ton CEO, informed us that Ebullient "is going to be a special anniversary ale released in March sold exclusively at the taproom." In the past, Two Ton has released Brute Squad Barleywine as their Anniversary Ale. Barbiere told us, "this will be our 5th year as a company and we have done the Brute Squad in the past as our anniversary beer but now with our own space wanted something truly special and we think this sour will be it."
