Booze News: Devil's Creek Brewery Debuting Caramel Apple Brown Cans for 3rd Anniversary

On Saturday, May 18th, Devil's Creek Brewery in Collingswood, NJ will be celebrating their 3rd Anniversary.  As part of the festivities, Devil's Creek will be debuting their Caramel Apple Brown Ale as part of the festivities.

In a filing with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Devil's Creek received approval on April 22nd for a label for Caramel Apple Brown Ale.  Caramel Apple Brown Ale is a 5.4% ABV Brown Ale that was first released in October 2016, and won 1st Place for "Malt-Forward Ale" at this year's A.C. Beer and Music Festival!

Text on the can label reads, "Caramel, brown sugar and apple...crisp, yet malt-forward. Not too sweet...just right!"  Caramel Apple Brown Ale was canned last year for Devil's Creek's 2nd Anniversary, but did not see distribution.  Devil's Creek informs us that they're "looking to have it in liquor stores thru [their] distributor, Thunderbolt."

The brewery continued, "Last year we canned Mandaripa IPA -same thing - for anniversary and just out of taproom. This year we’re just concentrating on the caramel after coming off the A.C. Beer Fest win."
