Hackettstown, NJ's Czig Meister Brewing Company has been increasing their can and bottle releases and distribution over the past year, and now the brewery is set to release one of their favorite fall seasonals in cans for the first time. In a filing with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) on Monday, Czig Meister received approval for a can label for Chaos.
Chaos is a 6.4% ABV Belgian Dubbel. A medium-bodied Belgian-style Trappist ale with hints of dark fruit and caramel, Chaos debuted on draft at Czig Meister in October of 2017, and quickly became a favorite in the brewery. Chaos is part of Czig Meister's Belgian Series, which also includes Order (Belgian Singel), Shield Oath (Belgian Tripel), Unholy Ritual (Belgian Quad), Paragon of Light (BBA Belgian Tripel), and Dark Sovereign (Double BA Belgian Quad aged on cherries).
When we reached out to the brewery for comment, Czig Meister confirmed that this would be the first year Chaos would be released in cans, and "we're anticipating to release these 12oz 6-packs on October 5th".
