The revitalization of Asbury Park, NJ has been underway for years now, but very few things exemplify the "new meets old" than Asbury Park Brewery. Started in Fall 2016, Asbury Park Brewery is solely owned and run by individuals involved in the music industry. It is fitting then that Asbury Park Brewery work with famed artists on band-inspired offerings.
According to a filing with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) on Thursday, Asbury Park Brewery received approval for a label for IP!ATD. IP!ATD, according to label art, is a 6% ABV India Pale Ale. Little is known about the beer, but text on the label reads "American IPA brewed in collaboration with Brendon Urie with a strong malt backbone and a big hop finish". Brendon Urie is the lead singer for American rock band, Panic! At The Disco.
Requests for additional information were not immediately returned by the brewery.
