Ezra Zion Leaves Boutiques Unified, Begins Self-Distributing

May 15th, 2017-- After 4 years together, Ezra Zion announced today that they are leaving Botiques Unified, and will begin self-distribution, effective immediately.

"First of all let us just say, everything is good. Everybody loves everybody. We are so grateful for our friends at LJ Zucca. The years we’ve spent working together have made us a stronger company. The decision to bring our distribution “in-house” made sense due to our increased capacity and growing infrastructure at EZHQ.", brand owners Chris and Kyle stated in the press release to customers.

In addition to the limited production releases that Ezra Zion has been releasing via the online store on their website, all of their regular production products are now available to order directly from ezrazionstore.com.  The web based store will handle both sales to consumers, and distribution to retailers.

Interesting move. Lots of questions: is boutiques unified going away? How do their other accounts feel about competing directly with EZ online sales?

Stefan, I certainly don't have any inside info, but I've been speculating that this is the downward spiral of BU.  I think the only still have BLTC, Nomad and Emilio, and I could see some or all of them announcing their departure in the next few months.
