Fratello Cigars at The Outlaw Cigar Company: I love this place.

A lot of you have seen me go on and on about The Outlaw Cigar Company in Kansas City - how big, fun, awesome it is. I've even posted pictures.  Finally I got the opportunity to actually record an Outlaw party for the record.

Kendall Culbertson, owner of The Outlaw, as he puts it, "promotes the cigar lifestyle", Kansas-Cowboy style.  The store, with its 1500 square foot walk-in humidor, two separate 3-TV lounge areas (one available to rent out for parties, including the poker table),…

Review: Tarazona Revolution 305 Torpedo

Since I can't pass up a weasel opportunity for those La Barba Purple, and I had this stick on deck, and for SOME reason no one has reviewed it yet, look at what you get!

I picked up this Tarazona Revolution 305 Torpedo through last year's Cigar Federation pass. As always with a pass full of sticks you've never tried, grabbing this was a total leap of faith, especially because at the time I had no idea what I liked or wanted. Lucky me.

Cigar: Tarazona…

Secrets of the Cigar Federation Council of Mods

Curious visitor, you seem to have stumbled onto the secrets of the mighty Cigar Federation and its power-mad Council of Mods.  These Mods work both openly in the world, and clandestinely behind closed doors, always looking to further the secret designs and plans of the Federation.

Completely Clueless Cigar Newb Review #2: Siboney Reserve, 5 lb mark

I'm back! And, as promised, as part of my Lose Weight, Smoke Cigars effort, since I recently hit 5 pounds down, I got me a cigar! Since this was my first 5 lbs, I got to have a "cheap" stick, so I grabbed one I've never had: the Siboney Reserve Robusto. Cheaper than cheap, even, because I got them at auction, 5er for $5. Even regular price at Famous Smoke they're $18, so regularly a $3-ish stick. I grabbed them because no one else was bidding on them. Why? Couldn't tell you.

Completely Clueless Cigar Newb: A Plan to Win

Alright FedHeds, I have begun playing a new game, one which I’ve decided you get to watch, if you’re interested.  I graduated high school at 115 pounds.  I got married when I was 23 at 160 pounds. I am now 15 years married, and I am neither 115 nor 160 pounds. I would like to change that, and I have tried on and off over the years, probably like many of you.  I have no health problems other than simply being a 160 pound man in a 228 pound body.  However, my wife has Type 2 diabetes, and is…

Completely Clueless Newb Review #1: La Floridita Limited Edition Toro

Ok,a lot of guys on CigFed really know their stuff, and they are definitely worth listening to. However, there are a lot of you who, like me, read or watch a review and think, "You taste WHAT? If you say so, dude." For you, it probably hasn't been that long since you've puked up your shoes halfway through a stick because you didn't know what you were getting into, or because you hoped you could balance a nic buzz with more alcohol. I know you're out there, so after a little encouragement, I… Continue
