Review: Felix Assouline Havana Sunrise Reserve

The other night I had just enough time to smoke this Felix Assouline Havana Sunrise Reserve, given to me by Michel Malek. It’s a nice looking, little box press with a smooth body, and a bumpy cap with a few creases in the top triple cap. But, otherwise good construction. Review: Felix Assouline EGO

The Felix Assouline EGO, a box-pressed perfecto? Oh yea. First I have ever seen and it’s pretty awesome. Add to that a shiny & intricate double band, and you have a winner in the looks department. The wrapper itself was a nice medium chocolate brown, and was pressed to a seamless cigar. The wrapper and foot smelled spicy, with a sweet aroma. The cold draw was a nice, thick sweet tobacco, much sweeter than the aroma from the wrapper. So, on to smoking!…
