Review: CULT Profile

Cult Profile Toro (6 x 50)

Hey, everyone! Thanks for joining me for another review. This weekend, I have a very special pre-release review of the Cult Cigars Profile in the Toro vitola. Excellent choice seeing as that is one of my favorite sizes. Now, let's get to the review!

This cigar is aesthetically pleasing to the Nth degree. Very tight seams and minimal veins are portrayed…

Review: 1502 Emerald

1502 Emerald Box-Pressed Robusto (5 x 50)

This morning's review is of the Emerald label from 1502 Cigars, which is produced under the umbrella of the Global Premium Cigar company. The vitola I'm smoking is for sample only, sadly, but the Toro and Torpedo sizes are available to the public. This sample, amongst a few others, was…

Review: Macanudo Cafe

Macanudo Café Gigante (6 x 60)

Welcome back, friends! Another review is upon us! Thank you all for following along and being patient as it's taken me a bit to get this one to you. Today, I have the Macanudo Café to review for you. This one is another sent from StogieBoys! I am so spoiled, I'll admit it. Let's begin.

I remove the cigar from its wrapper and I notice a couple of cracks near the head. This is the…

Review: C&C Roll Back (Connecticut)

C&C Roll Back Connecticut Robusto (5 x 50)

Hello, again! Glad to see some of you are still following along. Today I'm reviewing a cigar sent to me from my friends at Stogie Boys. C&C is represented by former Cusano president Joe Chiusano. This brand of cigars was debuted in 2011. Today, the company has various lines for the everyday cigar smoker to try with most of their tobaccos hailing from the Dominican Republic. Now, on to what…

Review: C&C Corojo

C&C Corojo Robusto (5 x 50)

Hey, friends! I'm back with another review for you all. This time it's another C&C from my friends at StogieBoys. This cigar is one of my favorites so far from C&C.

I smell the foot of the cigar and detect hay, cocoa, and earthiness with a mild sweet scent. The pre-light draw is open with notes of earthy hay and spicy sweetness. The…

Review: Core Zero Indie

Core Zero Indie Robusto (5 x 52)

Welcome back, brothers and sisters of the leaf! Today's review is of the Core Zero Cigars Indie. I've already had a few of these, so I know what to expect. I extend tremendous gratitude to Bryan Butler and the rest of the folks at CZ for the sample pack of cigars. Now, let's get to the review.

I've smoked two or three of these already, like I said earlier, so I…

Review: CI Legends - Orange Label by Rocky Patel

CI Legends: Orange Label by Rocky Patel Toro (5.7 x 54)

This review covers the quite established CI Legends cigar, the Orange Label from Rocky Patel. I have high hopes, being that I enjoy Rocky Patel cigars and am also a loyal CI customer, so we'll see how this goes.

From first smell, the scents I receive from this cigar are an earthiness as well as hay. There is a sort of barnyard and hay-like flavor on the pre-light draw.

   At first light,…

Review: Macanudo Cru Royale (Poco Gordo)

Macanudo Cru Royale Poco Gordo (4 x 60)

Good morning, folks! Today's review is of another cigar sent to me from my good friends at StogieBoys. This is the Macanudo Cru Royale. I had smoked a robusto size the other day and really enjoyed it. After smoking this size, I'll do a little comparison for you to make sure you get the correct vitola for your preference and palate.

This cigar is a little rustic looking. It's covered in spider…

Review: Paul Stulac Red Screaming Sun

Paul Stulac Red Screaming Sun Torpedo (6 x 54)

This cigar I received with a group of other delicious morsels from Paul Stulac. A contest hosted by Paul and a fellow reviewer and friend, Phillip Kohn, granted me these great cigars. This time around, I'm smoking the Red Screaming Sun. Let's get into the review!

Covered by a dark brown toothy wrapper, this cigar has large but minimal veins and tight seems. The foot smells of earth, cocoa, and tobacco…

Review: Gran Habano - George Rico S.T.K. American Puro

Gran Habano - George Rico S.T.K. American Puro (4 3/4 x 52)

Welcome back to The Cigar Collection! Today I have another special review to share with you. This review is of one of the VERY few American Puro cigars (comprised of all American grown and rolled tobaccos). I believe it is the only American Puro that is grown, rolled, and than distributed all from within the United States. Let's get to the nitty gritty:…

Review: Gurkha Blue Steel

Gurkha Blue Steel Torpedo No. 1 (6.5 x 53)

Today's review is of the Blue Steel cigar from Gurkha in the torpedo size. This was a two part cigar for me because of a midnight emergency with one of the kiddos. I will follow my notes from yesterday morning and the night before (the times I was smoking) and you will see the progression of the cigar from each part.
At first light, the draw is…

Victor Sinclair 55 Series Yellow (Cameroon) Churchill (7 x 50)

Kafie 1901 Don Fernando Maduro

Kafie 1901 Don Fernando Maduro V Sixty (5 x 60)    Hello, BOTL! We're back again for another review. This time, a cigar soon to be released from my new friend, Gaby Kafie of Kafie 1901 Cigars. The debut for this cigar is set for two weeks from now, so I get the worm (stick in this case) a little early. Here is a little information about the blend from their site (…
