The Davidoff Yamasa is a project that involves the Yamasa region in the Dominican Republic. Henke Kelner, Master Blender for Davidoff, decided to try his hand at growing tobacco in an area where all others had failed.

General Cigar Company unveiled a number of collaboration blends with A.J. Fernandez. What makes this project special is that AJ grew up near the Hoyo de Monterrey factory in Cuba. All the tobacco for the La Amistad also comes from A.J. Fernandez farms.

Review: Black Works Studio Bishops Blend (2016)

Black Works Studio was opened up under Black Label Trading Company with the goal of “developing unique blends highlighting Nicaraguan tobacco”. To that end James Brown blended the Bishops Blend in 2016 to be a rich and intense experience.

Released in two vitolas, and 20 count boxes, available as a Corona Larga (6-1/4x46) or Robusto (5x48). Production was limited to just 150 boxes of each vitola for 300 total boxes.
