Another great cigar manufacturer that I whose new release I was eager to try. Rolled out of Esteli, Nicaragua the Clave Cubana Etiqueta Blanca, which means “white label”, features a 5 year old Mexican San Andreas wrapper and filler from Jalapa, Esteli and Ometepe. Over a year was spent getting this blend ready for release.

One of the companies that was personally exciting for me was Mombacho. Although their factory is in Granada, Nicaragua, their head office is located in Toronto, Canada. As a fellow Canadian it was interesting to me that a cigar company would make a go of it in the difficult tax market here.
The Tierra Volcán line was launched at this year’s 2014 Las Vegas IPCPR, and it was great to have the opportunity to try some of their line. They will be available in…Continue
Once of the companies that was new to me at the IPCPR 2014 was Kuuts. Kuuts is based out of Jacaleapa, Honduras and the Kuuts name is derived from the Mayan word for cigar. The Kuuts Nicaraguan blend is their fourth release, and I’m looking forward to trying the other 3 blends already available.
