Review: Drew Estate Natural English

The English came to me by way of Johnny Brooke of Drew Estate.  They sponsored a user giveaway on Reddit as /r/cigars hit their milestone for users.   It had been resting in my humidor for 373 days before I had the opportunity to smoke it.

 

 

Nose:

A strong combination of cedar and rich sweet vanilla.

Construction:

The Natural English is a Toro vitola measuring 6” x 52…

Oliva Serie V Maduro Especial 2008 to 2012 Blind Mega Review Contest

Oliva Serie V Maduro Especial 2008 to 2012 Blind Mega Review - Part 1

Joya de Nicaragua Custom Blend (Drew Estate Cigar Safari)

This particular Joya de Nicaragua came from the Drew Estate Safari in April of 2013.  It was my first experience taking the various leaves and trying to combine them to create something delicious.  I would say that we spent at least an hour with viso, seco and ligero leaves in various combinations.  Smelling the leaves in a bunch, lighting them to see if the combined bunch would be great together.  I felt it was an excellent education…
