Review: QuickDraw Pennsylvania Broadleaf

Robert Holt of Southern Draw Cigars was kind enough to send us some samples of his QuickDraw Connecticut, Habano and Pennsylvania Broadleaf line. We recently had Robert on Sharing Our Pairings to do some beer pairings with the QuickDraw Connecticut.

I’ve been looking forward to the review of the Pennsylvania Broadleaf, as Broadleaf tends to be solidly in my wheelhouse for flavors.

Review: Ramon Allones 898 Edicion Regionales 2014 Alemania (Germany)

In 2014 Habanos S.A. released the Ramon Allones 898 as the Regional Edicion cigar for Germany. The 898 is so named because of the way it is packaged in the 25 count box. 3 rows of cigars going 8 then 9 and then 8 on the bottom. Production was limited to only 2,000 numbered boxes.

I was very excited to receive this as a cigar bomb from a very good friend. The box code for this cigar was RAE JUL 15.

Review: Gurkha Ninja XO

Another cigar in the Godzilla sampler pack, the Gurkja Ninja XO is described as a medium-full bodied cigar.

The Gurkha Ninja is sold in 20 count boxes and the vitolas options are Knife (Robusto, 5x55), Torpedo (6x52), XO (Gordo, 6x60), Perfecto #2 (6x60), or a Churchill (7x50).…
