Review: Black Works Studio Bishops Blend (2016)

Black Works Studio was opened up under Black Label Trading Company with the goal of “developing unique blends highlighting Nicaraguan tobacco”. To that end James Brown blended the Bishops Blend in 2016 to be a rich and intense experience.

Released in two vitolas, and 20 count boxes, available as a Corona Larga (6-1/4x46) or Robusto (5x48). Production was limited to just 150 boxes of each vitola for 300 total boxes.

IPCPR 2016 B Roll

As we lead into the Cigar Federation IPCPR 2017 coverage, it’s time to release another B roll video from the previous convention.

Review: La Galera Maduro El Lector

Released at the IPCPR 2016 in Las Vegas, the La Galera Maduro joins a portfolio that already includes Connecticut and Habano wrappers. Owned by Jochy Blanco, they are  rolled out of the Tabacalera Palma factory out of the Dominican Republic.

The La Galera Maduro is offered in six vitolas: Vitola No. 1 (3-1/2x50), Pegador (6x46), Chaveta (5x50), Cabeza Caracol (7-1/4x50), Cortador (6-1/4x52), and El Lector (6x54).
