The first Last Call started out as one of those great projects which was just an internal house blend handed out to guests who were over watching football. As per the namesake, this was the last cigar handed out to close the evening.
Originally launched in the single Geniales (4-1/2x48) vitola, a line extension was announced late 2016 adding on Pequeñas (5x46), Corticas (4x52), Flaquitas (6x46), and a Chiquitas (3-1/2x50).

The Davidoff Yamasa is a project that involves the Yamasa region in the Dominican Republic. Henke Kelner, Master Blender for Davidoff, decided to try his hand at growing tobacco in an area where all others had failed.
To date I’ve managed to smoke almost every single vitola available for the Yamasa. This is the second Pirámides I’ve smoked, so I feel like I have a great sense of the vitola performance at this point.
General Cigar Company unveiled a number of collaboration blends with A.J. Fernandez. What makes this project special is that AJ grew up near the Hoyo de Monterrey factory in Cuba. All the tobacco for the La Amistad also comes from A.J. Fernandez farms.
Sold in 20 count boxes, with 4 vitolas to choose from: Rothschild (4-1/2x50), Robusto (5x54), Toro (6x50), and Gigante (6x60).
Check out our interview with Elizabeth Maksim at the IPCPR 2016 in Las…Continue
