My Week (In Smoking) In Review - 10/08/13

Welcome to another installment of "My Week (In Smoking) In Review"!  Seems every week I've done this over the past 6 months or so, I've smoked some great sticks, I've smoked some bad sticks, and I've smoked several sticks that just were.  This week is a bit unique as I went with 4 "name" brands and pulled out 4 winners!  Let's check my thoughts...

L'Atelier LAT46 Selection…

Review: Viaje Skull and Bones MOAB 2012 (White Label)

The Viaje Skull and Bones MOAB (mother of all bombs) 2012 “White Label” came to me by way of a cigar pass in Canada.  It was on my list of cigars to try out and review, so when it showed up in the pass I was presented with a rare opportunity.  Only three hundred 25 count cigar boxes were released.

Nose:

A few strong smells coming off of the Skull and Bones.  Cedar, heavy fermented tobacco and white…

My Week (In Smoking) In Review - 10/01/13

The weather in NJ has been amazing since September hit - 70 degrees and sunny practically every day - but a busy work schedule and a 5-month old have not made cigar smoking easy.  My favorite time of year to get outside and enjoy a smoke, and I've only been able to grab a few sessions here and there.  Luckily, I was able to nail some really exceptional smokes this week (and one real clunker).  Let's get to my thoughts...…

Oliva Serie V Maduro Especial Blind Review Contest Results

Well the results were interesting to be sure.   In the end it turned out that I wasn’t very good at guessing the 2008, 2009 or 2010 years as I was completely off.  This reinforces that I need to smoke them more often.
