From last night. Leaded double edged sword

"Very good right now. I think they need to rest a bit, just from travel shock. Obviously the robustos are smoking better right now, but they have a year on them. I look forward to smoking another in a few weeks to get a better feel for them."

Disclaimer: what follows is my attempt to review a cigar. In reality, however, this is nothing more than my entry into the contest for some la barba purple!

Surrogates Cigars is a brand created and sold under the umbrella of L'Atelier Imports. The aim of the brand, according to the New Havana Cigars (owned by Dan Welsh) website, is to create "limited edition quality at everyday price." New Havana Cigars provides the pertinent background info:…

thanks for the welcome! I've been smoking for 18 years now, but am only beginning to discover the joys of the brotherhood of the leaf -- at least online, since I live in a draconian state that does not permit indoor cigar lounges of any kind (WA, to be precise).

Hey Stefan, or is it Stef-in? so whatcha like to smoke most? any specific wants? looking for some quantity for every day smoking or just a few quality sticks? I'd b interested in both, but have so much stuff that I cld make u a great sampler in exchange for a few special sticks. My tastes have changed to heavy, strong, full cigars a few years ago so alot has nice aging and I need to scale down. Trey recommended putting large samplers on rcigars marketplace once I'm verified. I'm talking about a lot of AJ's stuff for Diesel, Ave Maria, MOW as I went particularly crazy for him and the Garcias, so it's quality stuff and can include boxes if u prefer. With a collection this large I need some guidance on flavor profile or specific interests in order to narrow things down.
