I had my first Leccia smokes last night and this AM, and I definitely prefer the Black label, which was much fuller tasting than the White. Both versions are 5 x 52 (and I have both in the 4 x 46 size, but have yet to smoke them). Both were very attractively wrapped cigars, with the black being a bit firmer draw. What attracted me to these cigars was their use of fire-cured tobacco, which I've trying in my home rolled cigars the past couple of weeks. At home, I have not really gotten the taste of the FC tobacco I thought I would (smoky, bacon, sweet ham-ish), and really hoped that it would be in the Leccia's. It is not. There was a hint of it in the black, but really only in the retrohale, and not there at all in the white label. Perhaps this is just my tastebud shortcomings! So... even if I did not know of the FC, I would recommend the Black label, but probably tell folks to skip on the White.
