I'm excited to hear your thoughts on them. IF you crack the first one and hate it, I urge you to try to finish the can over the course of an hour or so. Like so many other things in life, it's sort of an acquired taste, as some people love it off the bat, and others take some time to warm up to it.
Not vinegar at all. I compare a real sour beer to a warhead in a bottle. E 9 was that for me. Varying degrees of sour for all of them - like tart to warhead. Some have some funk with them and I think that is probably an acquired taste. You'll know the funk when you taste it. Too much funk is no good, a little with the sour, very good! (my experience with sours has been a short crash course as length of time is not great, number tried is a pretty good number).

Some sours are vinegar sour, goses tend to be more like lemonade sour. a little tart, but not usually overpowering. It can just catch you off guard.
It took me a few different ones before I really started digging them. I had the same thing happen with IPAs though, and just was patient as my taste buds adjusted to something completely different than your typical beer tastes. I'll also say that as the beer warms up, the flavors will really start to shine, just like good stouts do for me.
