Actually, no. Still really like it, but this one is pretty linear.

Perhaps consistency is the bugaboo for this one. That's what I got from the first one I smoked and why I wasn't wowed by it, but agree it was still quite good. Also BTW, did you see the HE TAA is headed for regular production?

Yeah, Jeff, this one was lacking in the complexity. The other I had had a black cherry on it that I didn't find on this one. Still enjoyed it, just not as much as the other. I am very happy to hear about the availability of those TAAs! They are such a good smoke.

First one I had didn't do anything for me. Glad I got one in the cig fed cotm so I can try it again though.

Be interested to hear what you think the second time around, Jason.

Interesting.  I really enjoyed the ones I've smoked so far.  Not super complex, but enough along with the flavors I did pick up, made the experience noteworthy.  From what I understand, the vitolas are unique also.

I've smoked 2. The corona was very good. The robusto was meh. Both were one dimensional, but the corona's one dimension was nice, while the robusto just didn't do it for me.

I may have to adjust my expectations, Stefan. That first one had a pretty strong switch up, bringing in a black cherry/liquor note that I really liked. This one had some complexity, but I missed that note a lot. I would say that the HVC ES 2015 toro is one with that boozy cherry and I keep thinking I need to go back to it.

Doug, I have a buddy who's gifting me the pyramid, so I will be inter dyed to see the difference. Like Stefan pointed out, I can't imagine the flavors would improve in a larger RG, but you never know. I'd pay around or under $10 for them, and with box discount and special it came out that way. Probably not a $13 smoke for me, but there is no doubting the quality of the production and leaf, so I could see how people would happily spend slightly sub-Liga money for it and be happy.
