I know this was your first episode but It was very bad ,you should be more INTRENATIONAL .We're missing a forum that talks more about the

cigars then the Relationship between Cuba & the U.S.A. .Try to give us more info about the cigars, and also be more polite on the show.Thank you boys.

Guy,

Thank you for your comments brother. I do understand what you are saying about being more international. For us though, be Americans, we are focusing a little bit more on the relationship between Cuba and the United States. That was our goal for the first episode, but future episodes will be addressing more international topics as you are addressing. Our next show will be focusing on the global brands of Habanos S.A.

As for our manners, we were a little bit raw, but since our show does not need to be censored, it is a luxury we have. I am a good ole boy from North Carolina and Catfish is a Californian. When the show becomes bigger and so forth we will clean it up, but right now we are who we are. Thanks for viewing all the way from Calvisson though. I was near there many years ago when I was in Nîmes.

Guy, thank you for watching the show and providing feedback.  Being that this was our first who, I appreciate the honesty.  In regard to being more International, or catering to the international audience, to be completely honest I did not expect to have any international viewers.  For that, I apologize, as the thought never crossed my mind we would reach that far.  In a conversation after the show, we found out we had a significant amount of viewers internationally, and will adjust accordingly.

As for our manners, to a degree some of that is entertainment, some was nerves, and others we were responding to live chat taking place where guys were talking smack to us.  I realized afterwards, that folks cannot see the chat live, so it will not make sense to anyone watching that is not live on the chat.

Thanks for the honest feedback.  As an artist, musician, chef, and writer, I have thick skin and would much rather here honesty then fluff. Cheers my friend and long ashes.

I thought the show was great, personally, but as I have been watching lots of our CigFed associated shows, the "manners" and "behavior" seem, well... normal, perhaps even on the calm side compared to some of our other shows :)  So maybe we're just used to it.  Kind of cool to see an international listener that isn't from Canada or Central America, though :)

Dear Catfish & Big Tuna ,

I've found that your 2end show was better then the 1st, Well done boys ,Congratulations. What,I think, would be interesting Is the story of some brands and also some history about some houses of Habanos.Thank you for making some of your show a little bit more ,"INTENATIONAL" then the 1st time .

You both have some more ,"progess",to make on the show, but will anyone else do a better job then you two. Thank you bros. .

Psiman I think the biggest fear we have is content, or lack thereof, in the Habanos world.  We plan on reviewing a cigar for every show, and we post them in our forum here: Reviews. As we come up with less content, we will spend more time talking about a specific review, what we tasted, etc...  I think with the Monte No 2's recent award, and concentrating on the brand, we maybe got away from focusing on tasting notes.

Thank you for your input, and we would love to have guests as we move along.  The show is still very young, as is the format.

You guys going to be nice this week? F******... :snickers: Ill be in attendance!

Great show guys, and you nailed it on the head with the custom rolled cigars. They are pretty much event exclusive, factory exclusive, and shop exclusive. The one I will be attending up in Victoria on the 20th (thanks for the shout out) the roller will be only rolling 3 sizes (toro, robusto, robusto extra) but sometimes you can get them to do a personal size if they have all the materials necessary(tobacco, molds, ect.). Most every shop, factory, and hotel in Cuba has there own roller (usually a retired rockstar cat. 9) and they will most of the time do what ever size you want and some have aged customs in stock. I have found that at the events they either love to roll lanceros or you can't talk them in to it lol I love custom lances. Anyways great show Cat and Tuna can't wait til next week!

Dear Bigtuna & William Copper,

I had to give you my view on Episode Diecisiete which had,as a guest,William Copper, who was great as always ,but the show was

a bit too much on N.C.'s and not enough on Cubans. The show was on," Which NIC. or DOM. cigar taste more Cubanesque then any other cigar ?" .

In my opinion,NONE. The word "Cubanesque" doesn't even exsit.Let me explain. There's not one ,that Is In my opinion, even close to the taste or the aroma of a real Cuban and I'm speaking even with the packaging. The only one that came very close to a PESO cigar, was the Tatuaje Brown Label & the Blacks when It was still a privite handout. When the Blacks became an everyday standard, they lost It . A Cuban will alway be different. It Is In the soil & weather .Forgive me Copper & Bigtuna.

I agree, there is no such thing as "Cuban-esque"....unless your smoking a CC you aren't getting "CC" flavors (imo). I have seen some wrappers grown outside of Cuba that looked very similar but they didn't have the same flavor, or anything close for that matter. I love my CC and I love my NC (equally) but they are total opposites...
