dirty rat + Eagle rare
Complimentary flavors. The eagle rare does not over power most med + sticks. The wrapper for the dirty rat holds its own but is a short enough smoke to allow the taste buds to perceive the changes thought the cigar along with the bourbon thought the whole experience.

Sounds like a great pairing. Strong, but not overpowering flavors.

Exactly. People love things like the FFP and full bodied sticks or Stagg or high proof boutbons but don't realize they can easily overpower or antagonize their mate if not matched well
