I'd like to start an ongoing thread for people to share their thoughts on the Tatuaje Skinny Monsters. This can be as detailed or as basic as you want it to be.

Months from now we will all be asking what was your favorite skinny monster, and this can serve as a repository for our thoughts on the series. Similar the cigar of the month but ongoing and dedicated to the Skinny Monsters.

Good idea, Jason. So far I've had two. I smoked the Jason about a week after I got my box. I wish I had a whole box of these. Classic tatuaje broadleaf greatness. When these are released as boxes I have no doubt I'll grab at least half a box, if not the whole shebang.

The second one I smoked was the tiff. Had it in the morning with a cup of coffee, and it was enjoyable. Nothing earth shattering, but solid. Glad I tried it, but don't think I'll be seeking out any more.

This is a great idea, since I'm definitely going to forget most of my thoughts.  So far, I've smoked everything but the Mummy out of my first box.  Here are my thoughts, as far as I remember.

The Jason was my favorite, though it was lacking in flavor compared to the full size.

I was really impressed impressed the Wolfie in particular.  it had a great flavor that I can't place, but i don't remember getting from the other sizes.

The Face was good, but like some of the others, the flavors weren't as pronounced as the larger sizes.  I think this one will definitely be better with some age.

The Frank tasted the most similar to the full size to me, though the Drac was pretty similar as well.  I think these 2 might be the most unique blends in the series still.  I actually think even I could pick them out of a blind tasting.

The Tiff didn't impress me at all.  I think it worked much better in the pudgy size.

The Chuck on the other hand was noticeably better than the pudgy size, IMO.

The Hyde was very good, but I'm just not a huge fan of the blend in the first place.

The Jekyll, I smoked on the same day as a full size, and I thought it was much better than the full size.  a very prominent mint note was present, with a little citrus.

Posted a pic, but figured I'd comment here too. Smoking the Frank tonight (6/1). What a beautiful use of broadleaf. Rich, dark chocolate, some sweetness that lingers after the retrohale, and a nice medium pepper kick on the retro. All that intermixed with some standard coffee and earthiness. I will definitely be grabbing more.

Smoking a skinny wolf right now...And wondering why no shaggy foot this time?
They've said that 1 or 2 of the blends may go into normal production. I think the reason they got rid of all the "defining features" (like the wolfs shaggy foot, Frank's box press and Face's tobacco band) is so that they're more consistent in the sampler, and so they'll be simpler for regular production if chosen.

Haven't even bought mine yet but I'm probably picking it up in the next week or two. Might buy one to smoke and a second to age.

I'm still working my way through my first box...I might pick up a second.

Skinny monsters are skinny.....

Basic enough?    :)
