This month's Stogie of the Month is Casa Fernandez. Smoke 'em, post 'em and recommend them to your friends.
There's not much information online about Casa Fernandez, so all you need to know is that they make great cigars. Here's the only Cigar Federation video I could find, a What Embargo? episode from ten months ago.
Buena Cosecha robusto (SABOR) - Nicaraguan puro and I believe the wrapper is Corojo '99. First half was a spicy cedar fest. The smoke was abundant with a long, dry finish. Second half became more nutty with the cedar still present. Strength was solid medium, flavors med+. Overall a very nice afternoon smoke.
Casa Fernandez Arsenio Maduro Robusto
5.5 x 54
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Corojo Maduro
I purchased two of these from Corona Cigar, one maduro and one natural, and I could barely tell any difference in wrapper shade. Maybe it's like a Padron in that respect. I really enjoyed the one I decided was a natural. This one was not as enjoyable, but still solid. Construction was good.
